Knowledge Base
Speakers, Vocabulary, Project Context, and Templates.
These sidebar pages make transcription and the assistant smarter over time.
Speakers
Your roster of known speakers, each with a meeting count. Rename or merge speakers; changes propagate across meetings.
Vocabulary
Teach RecorderDesk names, jargon, and acronyms so they're transcribed correctly. Terms can be manual or pulled from project context, and each can be toggled active.
Project Context
Create named contexts and add folders or files of reference material. Each context shows document and token counts and a status (analyzing / ready / empty).
- • Use the Brief tab for an AI overview of the documents.
- • Use the Q&A tab to ask questions of them.
- • Generate vocabulary from a context, and export the brief.
Attach a context when you start a recording so the assistant's answers stay grounded in your material — see Recording a Meeting.
Templates
Control how summaries read. There are Live Recap and Meeting Summary template types, each with adjustable tone, length, and sections. Use built-in presets, clone and edit your own, set a default, and import/export templates.
