Real-Time Translation

Translate the conversation as it's spoken.

RecorderDesk translates the conversation as it's spoken, segment by segment. The translation model is downloaded once during setup and then runs on-device, so translation keeps working even in offline mode.

How to use it

  1. In the session language bar, set the source language (e.g. English) and the target (e.g. Japanese).
  2. Choose a display mode — Bilingual (original with translation beneath each line) or translated-only.
  3. Toggle translation on or off at any point during the recording.
English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean are first-class. Both the transcript and the assistant's output respect your translation / AI-output language, so a bilingual meeting reads cleanly in the language you choose.

If a translation falls out of date after you edit the transcript, a Translate now action re-runs it. On a saved recording you can also pick a different translation language and re-translate the whole transcript. You can adjust defaults under Settings → Translation.
